EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Michelle Foster has a Master of Science Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. She is a State Board Licensed Acupuncturist and Registered Nurse (CA).  She is Nationally Accredited by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Michelle has also practiced and studied Massage Therapy for many years.  Michelle began her medical studies as a Medical Assistant.

ABOUT MICHELLE

Michelle first became interested in acupuncture over 20 years ago. Through personal experience, she found flaws in the Western approach to medicine. Her experiences with acupuncture were much more effective through a non-invasive approach that not only restored her physical well-being, but her emotional health as well. She also preferred the one-on-one attention, where the practitioner took the time to do a thorough evaluation; and designed an approach to healing that was specific for her needs. As your Licensed Acupuncturist, she will always do a complete history on her patients to first obtain the proper Chinese diagnosis.

Michelle's mission is to integrate both Western and Eastern medicines together to provide the very best in patient care.  Michelle's goal is to educate, empower and guide her patient towards perfect health.  Her focus is to bring the body, mind and spirit together in perfect harmony.
